With all this talk of "the credit crunch", it's easy to feel a little down in the mouth at the moment, but don't worry as Theatre Royal Winchester and Brasserie Blanc have got the perfect cure for those recession blues...
On October 8 and 9, the rather splendid Wayne McGregor | Random Dance will be here with their
brand-spanking-new show.
Ticket holders for ENTITY can enjoy Brasserie Blanc's 'Dine With Wine' Menu either pre or post show at lunch prices of £11.50 for a two course meal or £14 for a three course meal. The performance starts at 8pm and is an hour long with no interval.
Wayne McGregor's been booked for the main stage of The Big Chill, Glastonbury, The Royal Opera House and La Scala and choreographed movement for Harry Potter.
Now you can get to see why he is acclaimed as one of the world's most exciting choreographers - and why the Royal Ballet has hired him as their first Resident Choreographer in 16 years - as he unleashes 10 dancers, beats and strings in his new show, ENTITY.
An hour-long breathtaking trip through a soundscape created by Coldplay and Massive Attack collaborator, Jon Hopkins, and award-winning composer Joby Talbot (The Divine Comedy), ENTITY is a staggering blend of athletic bodies, lights, technology and film which confirms McGregor's place at the cutting edge of contemporary culture. Technically astonishing, emotionally uncompromising and hard-hitting McGregor's work breaks boundaries and defies categorisation.
